The makerspace is a setting for you to explore ideas, try something new, make mistakes, messes and quite possibly, some friends. We are currently by appointment only. Please book your walk through to get started.

Getting Here + Parking

The makerspace is located at 3515 Ringsby Ct inside the TAXI Freight Residences. We are the big black box sandwiched between the BOA and DIESEL buildings. There is a basketball hoop, mini climbing wall, and community gardens to the right of our location. Please park to the left behind the dog park and near the recycling bins. This is free public parking. There’s also super sweet scooter 🛴 and bicycle 🚲 parking in front of the building.

When you arrive use your fob or dial 001 on the call box to enter the space. If you have booked the space for your own use, you will receive a code upon completing your walk through. We are directly to the right upon entry. If you are having trouble finding us or getting in please text 720-728-1420.

Are all supplies included?

Not all supplies needed are provided, base supplies are available at the space and clearly labeled.

Do you offer membership packages?

We do not offer memberships at this time, but do offer a discounted package at buy 4 day passes, get 1 free, which can be purchased at the time of your booking.

Can I drop my kid off to use the space?

Everyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult unless stated otherwise in a class description.

Do you offer 1-1 lessons?

We currently offer 1-1 sewing lessons. Our instructor Trina can be reached at treenmachine3@gmail.com for pricing and bookings.

We recommend taking one of Stuart’s workshops at Ink Lounge if you are interested in a guided screen printing workshop.

Do I have to be a TAXI resident to use the space or attend FoOL events?

No, the makerspace is open to the public. You only need to purchase a day pass or package if you are a non-resident looking to book the space for your private use. If you work or live on campus at TAXI you are considered a resident.

Will you show me how to use all the equipment?

During your walk through we will go over basics for each set up. But, we will not be going in depth. We have manuals and a curated Pinterest project gallery to help get you started. We encourage everyone to adopt the “f*ck around” mentality. But, if that is not your style, see question regarding 1-1 lessons.

Can I leave work in progress projects at the makerspace?

We are a small space and can not accommodate WIPs at this time. We ask that you take all your belongings with you and can not be responsible for any lost or used materials left behind.

Can I bring a friend?

All non-TAXI residents using the space must purchase a day pass and complete the walk through.
